Traffic arriving at Finland’s Eastern border with Russia intensified in reaction to the mobilization order of 300,000 reservists by Putin.
The traffic intensified at the Finland border overnight after President Putin ordered a partial mobilization and gradually intensified into the daytime hours of today, Reuter reported.
“Finnish land border crossings have remained among the few entry points into Europe for Russians after a string of Western countries shut both physical frontiers and their air space to Russian planes in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine”, says Reuters.
Report says Finland is strictly watching the border and “border guards were ready at the nine checkpoints”.
