Miss South Africa 2022, Ndavi Nokeri has officially handed the crown to Natasha Joubert as the Miss SA 2023 on Sunday, at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Tshwane.
In 2016, Joubert won the Miss Globe South Africa and also placed top 5 in the Miss Globe 2016 pageant. 26-year-old Joubert was the second runner-up in Miss South Africa 2020 and later represented South Africa at the Miss Universe competition in 2021.
Joubert is the first Miss SA to wear the brand new crown “Mowana, Tree of Life”, designed by Ursula Pule and her husband, Kealeboga Pule.
“I want to fully take on these new challenges, grow and evolve even more as a woman, and at the same time let go and enjoy every second! I will be forever grateful for this second chance”, she said.
Asides modeling, Joubert is also the owner and fashion designer of Natalia Jefferys, a fashion brand she founded in 2016. Joubert is a BCom Marketing graduate from Tshawane in Gauteng.
