The UFC 281 will conclude with an epic and much anticipated match between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. The pair have met twice, with Pereira winning both times, after a devastating Knockout in the second match. Will the same happen tonight at Madison square?
Although Pereira has won against the champion twice and has incredible power in both hands, we think this night will make a difference with Adesanya taking the win. Adesanya is ready to take up the challenge and is obviously the best striker of the two.
Michael Bisping, English sports analyst, commentator and retired mixed martial artist, gave five reasons why he thinks Adesanya will take the win tonight. He believes that Adesanya will not let the past winning cloud his judgment and mess with his performance “Adesanya is not the type of guy to second guess himself, to let negative thought mess with his performance. He won’t go into this one thinking, ‘wow, this guy has beaten me twice before. Oh my God’. No, that’s not going to be the case. He’s supremely confident.” Said Bisping on his YouTube channel.
Bisping also stated that Adesanya has the advantage of speed, experience and patience. “Patience is going to be key”, he said.
“…This is about pride. This is about being the bigger, better man, and the better fighter. There’s a reason why Izzy has gotten to where he’s at. There’s a reason why he’s one of the poster boys for the UFC. One of the biggest stars that they have. He’s the whole package”
“Is there any reason why he wouldn’t be the champ on Saturday night when the dust is setteled?” he added.
We hope that @stylebender flies the flag right tonight!
