Seated Cable row is an exercise used to tone and strengthen the upper body which in turn develops overall posture and reduces the risk of injury. It also helps to build more muscle for a better and well-defined back. There are variations of seated cable row which include: Reverse Grip Seated Cable Row; Close Grip Seated Cable Row; Wide Grip Seated Cable Row; Single Arm Cable Row.

To perform a seated cable row, sit on a chair and place your feet firmly apart with your knees bent and grip the cable attachment. Brace your core with your feet firmly planted into the platform foothold and pull the handle and weight back.

With your back straightened, push your shoulders together and pull the cable towards your torso. Then squeeze your shoulder blades together, stretch your arms out and return the handle with your back straight. Repeat as much as you can.
