DIY: How to Make Colored Candles

Dying your candles in your best colors helps you to cast a custom glow to your space.

Learn how to dye your own candles at home.

First, set up a double boiler to heat the wax, then melt an old candle on the stovetop, add a small amount of candle dye. Stir it gradually until you get the desired shade. Once it is the right color you want, allow the wax to cool down and pour wax into a mold with a new wick and allow it to harden.

NOTE: If you will be melting more than one candle, to make a big one, make sure they are all made from the same wax.
