Chicken pepper soup can be eaten any time of the day and is sometimes eaten after childbirth, for hangovers or by a sick person. Often times, chicken pepper soup can be cooked with potatoes, plantain, and yam or alone. It can be eaten alone or with bread, rice, corn meal and so on.

Chicken
Pepper soup spice
Crayfish/dry fish (optional)
Plantain/yam/potatoes (optional)
Pepper
Ginger and Garlic
Onions
Salt and seasoning to taste
Scent leaf
HOW TO PREPARE CHICKEN PEPPER SOUP
First, blend the onion, pepper, ginger and garlic and set aside. Slice, and wash the scent leaf and also set aside. Cut the chicken into bit sizes and wash. In a pot, add the chicken, pepper mixture, seasoning and salt to taste, then cook for 15 minutes with a little water. Afterwards, add the pepper soup spice, crayfish/dry fish and water. Cook for a few minutes, then add the yam/potatoes/plantain and cook together till tender. Stir in the scent leaf and serve hot.
