ASONDO

Asondo is a snack native to the Tiv ethnic people of Nigeria. It is a simple snack made out of potatoes. It is also called Dried Sweet Potatoes. It is very crunchy and chewy.

[Drying all Foods]

Ingredients

Sweet Potatoes

Water

Grinded Pepper (optional)

How to Prepare:

  • Slice sweet potatoes into small pieces as desired.
  • Boil the potatoes.
  • Mix in the grinded pepper.
  • You will then dry the potatoes in the sun for 2 to 3 days.
  • Your Asondo is ready to eat.
