Alberta Health Services Shuts Down Pig and Duke Pub

The notice of closure was issued when health supervisors found cockroaches on the walls, floor and ceiling as well live cockroaches all around the pub, report says. The City news reports that “there was an accumulation of food debris and grease buildup in various areas of the food handling areas, including but not limited to hard-to-reach areas, beneath cooking equipment in the main kitchen line and back preparation area”.

Report according to Alberta Health Services says there was evident record of pest control measures, which is in breach of the Public Health Act.
