Mr Ogunniran, Lawyer, Chartered secretary and Chartered Arbitrator holds LL.M degrees of the University of Lagos. H e was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1985. He joined UAC of Nigeria Plc as manager, Legal Services in 1995 and was later appointed as Western Area Manager and Marketing Manager respectively of GBO/MDS Division of UACN.
He is the immediate past Division Managing Director of MDS Logistic Division of UACN and the immediate Past President and Chairman of Council of the institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
The Board of UACN recently announced the appointment of Mr Hakeem Ogunniran as the new Managing Director/CEO of UAC PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (UPDC)
A devout Christian and staunch member of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria. Upon consistent right standing and service in the church organization, Mr Hakeem Ogunniran was conferred with the Deaconship of the Church and later called into the ministry as a Pastor. He was the chairman of Ajebo Convention 2012.
Recently, he clocked the golden age of 50. The birthday program was cute and well attended, an event which took place in the heart of Lagos. The anniversary was a roll call of who is who among his friends, relations, business associates, colleagues in UACN and his church members.
Encomiums were freely poured on the man Hakeem Ogunniran who many appraised diligent, focused, unassuming, humble, helpful and very accommodating. It is therefore not surprising the cream-de-la-cream of high profile businessmen and women, church leaders and other professionals and individuals that graced the occasion as a mark of honor to this business Icon.
A live gospel band was on hand to thrill the audience with scintillating lyrics and beats while Rev. Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Centre and Rev. Dr Wilson Badejo of Foursquare Gospel Church took their turn to deliver inspiring homily.
There was more than enough to eat and drink as the kitchen of Golden Tulip was virtually moved to the event center.
